Helene Neville, 50, became the first person to run across America via the extreme southern (Gulf) route in the summer and the first woman to run the southern route ever! Imagine a marathon or more every day for 93 consecutive days in stifling heat – over 2,500 miles!
All of this would be unbelievable by itself: BUT the big finish here is that Helene accomplished this feat as a cancer survivor. Helene’s story is powerful and inspiring. Her message, filled with humor and poignancy makes amazing connection with her audience. She speaks with much experience on having a vision in life, the value of goal setting, courage, perseverance, self motivation and harnessing the full power of the mind.
She entertains with the ability of a headlining comedian while motivating with ease.
Athletic Event: Helene speaks to athletes of all ages and abilities about our greatest obstacles that originate from within – fear being the biggest obstacle. About merging mind, body and spirit to accomplish any goal. Power exists for all of us to explore and use, it doesn’t require definition, recognition or praise. It merely is!
Nursing Event: Helene celebrates nurses with an uplifting presentation that inspires nurses to stay hopeful, to build strong teams and to rekindle nursing as the most important profession. Helene’s speech will empower nurses to take a renewed look at nursing to begin/continue to lead the charge to a healthy nation. Helene is a catalyst for achieving a healthy world. Her valuable message to others in the health profession is simple: “To transform the public’s health, health care workers need to become ambassadors for healthy living which will inspire and create health in your patients.”
Corporate Event: More than a third of the U.S. workforce reports moderate to very poor health, translating to rising health care costs to employers for their “unfit” employees. In a country where we are ebbing closer and closer to half the nation, including our children, being obese and a clear correlation emerging between staff performance and staff health. The health and well being of the staff is very important to the quality of production, and there are good reasons for prioritizing investment in it.
Helene challenges others to find their own creative inner voice, run or walk the path less traveled and pave your own unique lane.
